A Snail's Story

A SNAIL'S STORY

I received this in an email and I thought that it's quite meaningful.

I'm so easily distracted that I often lose track of what I'm supposed to be focused on doing. Major Flaw. This brings to mind what I once read in Purpose Driven Life. Here's the quoted analogy, when you place a magnifying glass on top of a piece of paper under the sun for a period of time, you'd notice that the paper will start to burn in time to come. Reason being attributed to the power of focus and concentration. Similary, when you put your mind and heart into what you hope to do the results you'd get are likely to far exceed the results you get by trying to do too many things at the very same time. Like the snail which believes in itself, concentrates and stays focused on getting to the other end. Ultimately, it successfully does so. I'm always telling my students the importance of staying focused but sadly, I hadn't applied it on myself. Mock exam commences this week, Yeelppp!
