FOREVER CINDERELLA

I'm feeling teenybopper-ish today...

Watched Campus Superstar with my parents earlier. Don't usually follow all these Superstar, Singapore Idol and blah contest 'cos there's just too many of them. Talent quest overkill. This however was an exception 'cos one of the finalist is from my then Secondary School-Katong Convent. Not to mention that she's also from choir so that kinda makes her my junior.

I've always felt a sense of belonging when I was in KC probably 'cos I've spent 10years of my life there. And perhaps it is that which made me feel all excited and hyped-up about the contest. She was trailing behind and both my parents whipped out their cellphones to punch in smses and vote for her. Quite a cute and funny scene to see them both getting all gun cheong especially since my Dad always deemed it irrational to vote for such contests. He's always saying that at the end of the day it'd be the producers that would be laughing their way to the bank but there he is contradicting all he had said by sending those smses. I guess I'm not the only one that feels sentimental, a sense of pride and belonging towards the school. My parents too. Although I can't really explain why. *Tsk*

Anyway, thumbs up to Teresa (the Forever Cinderella) for the brilliant performance. Her voice's soothing, clean and crisp. Congrats. When I hear comments about how well she sings I somehow feel so proud that she's from my alma mater. Haha. I must be mad. Perhaps it's just the way I am...Just like how sometimes I feel extremely patriotic (although only occasionally and only at random). But at the end of the day, I'm still my Siscie's no.1 fan.
